Dr Hannah Reville

I'm Hannah. I'm a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I have over 10 years experience working in both the NHS and private practice. In my work I  draw upon a number of therapeutic models (including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, systemic and trauma informed approaches (including EMDR).

I value the importance of providing warmth and compassion so I can provide a safe space, recognising it can be a brave step coming to therapy. I draw on the awareness that we all come from unique backgrounds and that there may be multiple ways of addressing a problem. I aim to take a holistic approach to provide solutions and healthier ways of coping. The importance of the mind body connection is weaved through my work, as well as helping clients connect to themselves, the people around them and the things that are meaningful to them.

I am experienced in working with a wide range of experiences and mental health challenges including: low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, perfectionism, sleep difficulties, relationship difficulties, adjustment to health and life events and professional burnout. I am also experienced in working with people with learning disabilities and those who have been given a functional neurological diagnosis. I am also experienced in conducting specialist psychological assessments for cosmetic surgery. I have a special interest in employee well-being, professional burn-out, psychological /therapeutic support, coaching, and training for businesses and employees.

In addition to my clinical practice, I work with Oxford University as a Supervisor for Trainee Clinical Psychologists.

In addition to my Clinical Psychology doctorate, I have gained additional training and qualifications in the following areas: Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).
